How to Regain Personal Motivation

Hi guys! Today I wanted to talk to you about how to regain personal motivation. Also, what you need to ask yourself if you’re having this problem.

Mine has been staring at me in the face for like a week now and it’s this acne!  I feel like I’m way too old for this and I should have outgrown these problems by now right?! Isn’t it only for the awkward teenage years?!

In this video, I’m sharing with you my current situation that’s staring at me in the face and what I’m doing to refocus and re-prioritize my current actions.

After stewing and thinking about it for a while, I realized that it’s my fault. I’m the only one to blame (can’t point my finger at anyone else this time 😉 ) These came about because I hadn’t been taking care of myself as well as I should have.

A couple of ways that this has happened is I stopped exercising every morning, I stopped drinking as much water as I had before, and I also stopped eating as healthy. I made the choice to sit on the couch and eat pizza rather than drinking water and eating vegetables and stopped exercising even a little.

So that got me thinking…

“What am I doing?!” Obviously my body is not happy so it’s coming out in these problems and rather than running away from it, what can I do to change it? I don’t need any medication, you know, I don’t need any pills or anything.

It’s just going back to the basics.

Nutrition, exercise, and water intake. And that’s what I wanted to share with you today. So if you have had any problems like I do. Or any other problem.. I think we have to take a step and back and say

“Okay. Blank has happened. What can I do to fix this? It’s up to me.”

A question that I want to leave you thinking about today is why, even though, we know what we should and shouldn’t do, why don’t we do it? If we know what the end result will look like why don’t we follow through?

For me, I know that I should be exercising everyday. I feel so much better afterwards. I know I should be eating healthy. I don’t have sugar crashes or stomach aches. I know these things but why don’t I follow through, why don’t I do it ? That’s something that I have to figure out about myself (which will probably be in an updated post).

So what is this number one question to regain personal motivation?

If I know what the end result looks like why am I not following through?

  • IS this something you really want?
  • Are you making it enough of a priority?
  • Do you need to break it down into smaller tasks?

What is it for you? What is your current problem that you already have the solution to, but can’t follow through on? I’d love to know!

I know this is really short but I wanted to share this problem with you because it’s going to go away soon!

I’m the one that has to change it. You are too.
