How to Make a Bed Like Hotel Boss!

I wanted to share with you how to make a bed, specifically a hotel-like bed, at home using the same way I do every day as part of my morning routine. Once you start making it a habit you won’t look back!

Check out my post here if you need help on where to start with your morning routine.

After you make your bed in the morning, you won’t have to think about it until you get into that made bed and it will feel awesome!

Making the bed takes me a total of 7 minutes..sometimes less

In this video, I show you how I make my bed everyday step by step and how you can achieve the same look inside your house! Enjoy!

My best tip is to always make my bed right after you get up to get it out of the way. It feels so good to have done and I don’t have to worry about it the rest of the day.

Making your bed automatically makes your room feel cleaner and brighter. This process also feels amazing whenever you’re ready to get back into a perfectly nice made bed. Personally I love the way that a hotel bed looks so I tried copying and replicating that look inside of my house.

Basically all the items you need to make a bed like a hotel boss at home are:

1 fitted sheet

2 flat sheets

1 comforter

1  blanket

and your favorite pillows

All right let’s get started.

Step 1: fitted sheet

First put the fitted sheet on the mattress.

Step 2: First flat sheet

What you want to do is lay down the first flat sheet to the head of the bed. This should be all the way at the top and even on both sides.

Step 3: Comforter and blanket

Lay down the comforter and blanket evenly on top of each other a couple inches down from the first flat sheet. I normally gauge this under the sewing line of the flat sheet. This way it folds over easier without that in the way.

Step 4: Second Flat Sheet

Next, you’re going to put down the second flat sheet but have that almost reach the top first flat sheet. We want to create some overlap and have it extend past the comforter and the blanket so we can have enough material to fold underneath.

Step 5: Fold sheets.

What you’re going to do is take the end of the second flat sheet and fold that underneath the blanket and comforter.

After that, fold the first flat sheet back on top of the second flat sheet sheet, blanket, and comforter.

Fold over again one more time.

Step 6: Tuck all the excess.

Now you can start tucking all the sides under the mattress for a clean look.
