How I Fold Jeans and Pants. Whether you are organizing big items or small, there are some foundational strategies that you must implement to start off on the right foot.
When it comes to storing linens, towels, or clothes, folding is a key way that will either make or break your storage system.
Imagine if you have to continuously rifle through 75% of your pants until you find the pair you are looking for! All that does is leave you with a mess right?!
I didn’t realize I was creating a folding series, but I did! Here are the folding posts if you want to learn more:

So how do you fold jeans and pants?
I fold my jeans and pants into fourths, essentially. I found this method of folding from The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo.
The first step to folding jeans is to lay them out flat.
Then you want to fold one pant leg onto the other (in half) and smooth them out.
Fold the hook part (the bootay!) into the leg. You want the entire length of the pant leg at almost the same width.
Bring in the bottom of the leg and fold the pants in half.
The final step is to fold into thirds.
When pants are folded properly, they are able to stand on their own on a flat surface! So amazing!
When you store pants vertically, they will stand by themselves, and you don’t pile things on top of each other.
That way when you are looking for a pair of pants or jeans, they are easily found and accessible because you can see exactly what is in the drawer.
When you start filing, you start smiling!
